Kottaras, KathyKottaras - How to Be BraveE. Katherine Kottaras is originally from Chicago, but now she writes and teaches in the Los Angeles area. She holds an M.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine and teaches writing and literature at Pasadena City College. She is at her happiest when she is either 1) at the playground with her husband and daughter and their wonderful community of friends, 2) breathing deeply in a full handstand, or 3) writing.  Her debut YA contemporary novel, HOW TO BE BRAVE, was released on November 3, 2015. Her second book, THE BEST POSSIBLE ANSWER, is tentatively set for a Fall 2016 release.



Reul, RobinReul, Robin - My Kind of CrazyRobin Reul has been writing stories since she was old enough to hold a pen. Though she grew up on movie sets and worked for years in the film and television industry, she ultimately decided to focus her attention on writing contemporary young adult novels. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, son and daughter. Her debut novel MY KIND OF CRAZY comes out April 5, 2016 from Sourcebooks Fire.



Santana, SaraSantana, Sara - AwakenedSara Elizabeth Santana is a YA and NA fiction writer. She has worked as a smoothie artist, Disneyland cast member, restaurant supervisor, nanny, photographer, pizza delivery driver and barista but writing is what she loves most. She runs her own nerd girl/book review blog, What A Nerd Girl Says. She lives in Southern California with her dad, five siblings and two dogs. Her debut novel is The Awakened.
