Teen Book Fest

Where Teens and Books Meet!

The whole program was stellar. One thing I did note was the authors saying how well it was handled, how much they enjoyed it. And many of them have attended far “bigger” programs. I would love to see continued support for this event. The coordinator marshaled the forces so well – all the teen librarian moderators, all the volunteers, the community contributions. It was terrific. Thanks again. Andrea Vuleta, Executive Director Southern California Independent Booksellers Association.

Thanks Courtney! You put on an amazing event! It was so great to be there and talk to all those fantastic reader, bloggers, educators, and librarians. Thanks for inviting me! It was such a pleasure. Sara Santana, Teen Book Fest Blogger. www.whatanerdgirlsays.com

Thank you so much for everything, Courtney! The event was such a blast and I’m so thrilled that the attendees had a great time too! You’re a rockstar for putting together this lovely event. Thanks again! – Marie Lu, author of the Legend Trilogy.

What a joy today was. We need to grow this even more… there is no reason why this festival can’t be as big as Rochester or Austin or anywhere else. Are you kidding me? This is SoCal. And today totally rocked. Totally. Andrew Smith, author of Winger.

One of the best-organized small festivals, the Ontario Teen Book Fest really takes care of their authors. We had escorts throughout the day who anticipated our every need. My moderators were outstanding, very smart and they knew and loved their panelist’s books. The readers were wonderful, enthusiastic teens and adult fans of YA — the whole day was a delight. Courtney Saldana is one of those gems who truly loves books and people and it’s reflected in the success of the Ontario Teen Book Fest! Lissa Price, author of Starters.

I just wanted to thank you again for including me in your festival! You really did such a fabulous job organizing, and I had a blast! Jessi Kirby, author of Golden.
Thanks for letting me be a part of the festival. I enjoyed moderating, meeting new people and seeing buddies. Your people were great! Carrie Arcos, author of Out of Reach

I got to meet new fans, meet new authors I hadn’t connected with before, see friends, listen to some great author talks. I absolutely thought this was one of the best organized events I’ve ever done. Thank you all so much.
